THE FT. D.A. RUSSELL FAMILY CAMPGROUND Office is located in the new hospitality Center on the northeast side of the camp. Enjoy modern conveniences such as handicap accessible restrooms and complete laundry facilities. The traditional red brick closely resembles many of the century-old buildings located throughout the base.

Located in Cheyenne, WY. DIRECTIONS FROM GATE 1 Take Exit 11 from I-25. Enter Gate 1. Take Randall Ave. to the second stop light (Old Glory) and turn left. Continue over the railroad tracks to the intersection of Missile Drive and turn right on Missile Drive. Continue west past the four way stop and take the next right on South Creek Drive. You will see a sign on the left side of South Creek Drive that will take you to the FAM Camp. DIRECTIONS FROM GATE 2 Follow detour signs until construction is completed. The FamCamp office is a small red brick building on the right. If closed, there is a self check-in and payment box in front of the building. Hours of operation are Monday – Sunday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. If closed, there is a self check-in in front of the building.

Reservations and Fees

FamCamp is open year-around and the office is staffed from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day, with limited services available prior to and after those dates, weather permitting. The campground features 40 full hook-up sites with 30 and 50 amp service; 10 tent sites; and 75 spaces for over flow or dry camping; and a seasonal dump station. Host building amenities include staff office, lounge area, laundry, showers, restrooms, and Wifi internet service. Reservations are accepted up to 30 days in advance with a credit card deposit. There is a 30-day maximum stay limitation. Exceptions include those on official travel orders, contractors assigned to F. E. Warren, and those with prior consent by the 90th Force Support Squadron Commander. Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice will forfeit reservation fee. The Seasons

Peak season is mid-May through Labor Day. Ft. D.A. Russell Family Campground is winterized by mid-September. Electrical hookups are available after that time but water and sewer are not.
